AKA: Ruthie, Ruth, Sally, Mom, Roo, Truth, Ruthie May, Baby Ruth, Honey, Love, Babe and sometimes someone else’s name all together and soon to be called Grandma. Awe. 

I have worn many hats and walked in many shoes, but my artist self goes by Roo. Nashville TN is where I have spent most of my life, but I now happily reside in Jacksonville Florida. 

Multi-Media Artist: Including Canvas, Pallets, Sandcastles, Painted Glass, Pottery, Cartooning, Murals, Fabric, Creative Christmas Games, Finger Painting, Refinished furniture…. Life is my Canvas and art touches all things in my life.

Superheroes: Dr. Suess, Walt Disney, Pippy Long Stockings, Cher, Willy Wonka and of course, the most incredible good ole Mary Poppins. I think this list lets you know where I am coming from.

I delight in the magic of life. Art is magical to me. It is joy. As an Artist and a person I find it my mission to follow through with as many inspirations that come my way. I put my love, my energy, my thoughts, my emotion, and my whimsey into all my work, each piece is a love affair.  I live in creation.  My work can be many things. It can be humorous, practical, whimsical, odd, innovative, deep. I am all these things and so… my art is all these things.
